Room availability

Should we have rooms available, rooms will be held only once Proof of Payment has been received or payment was done via our site.

Refunds/returns Policy

Should you for any reason wish to cancel your reservation you will be liable for a 15% handling fee. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 1 month before stay date: 50% of deposit refundable

• 2 weeks before stay date: 25% of deposit refundable

• Less than 2 weeks before stay date: 0% of deposit is refundable

• Early Departure: No refunds on early departure

• No-show: No refunds on no-show

Payment Options and Pricing

All transactions will be processed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Boschrand Lodge (Pty) Ltd. endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current products; your total booking price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax.

Boschrand Lodge (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.

Credit Card

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. If you do not have a credit card please utilise one of the other payment options, or simply log off and return to the site at a later time to complete your booking.

Security Policy

1. Virtual Card Services process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.

2. Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

3. The Merchant does not have access to credit details.

4. Virtual Card Services continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes.

We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. Law

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Consent

I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to Boschrand Lodge (Pty) Ltd. and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Boschrand Lodge (Pty) Ltd. for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.

Cancellation/No show Policy:

In the event of a cancellation, no-show or early departure, the following rules apply: Note: Arrival is defined as 14H00 on the date of arrival No verbal cancellations of reservations will be accepted. All cancellations must reach us by e-mail.

1. 1 month before stay date: 50% of deposit refundable

2. 2 weeks before stay date: 25% of deposit refundable

3. Less than 2 weeks before stay date: 0% of deposit is refundable

4. Early Departure: No refunds on early departure

5. No-show: No refunds on no-show

On receipt of a written instruction to cancel the reservation, Boschrand Game Lodge will refund the applicable amount as determined by the cancellation terms, within 5 working days. Boschrand Game Lodge levies a 6.5% administration fee on any refunds processed. Should refunds to a SWIFT bank account be required, an additional R185 charge will be levied.

Check In/Check Out

 

• Check in is from 14H00 on the day of arrival, and checkout is strictly 10H00 on the day of departure.

• All extras are to be settled prior to departure.

• For late arrivals please pre-arrange with management.

• Should you wish to arrive before 14H00, we will gladly store your luggage and transfer it to your room as soon as it is ready.

• Checking out later than 10H00 without prior arrangement will result in an additional night's accommodation charge becoming payable prior to departure.

 

Terms & Conditions

 

• Right of admission reserved

• All guests will abide by estate rules.

• Keys must be handed in at reception prior to departure.

• Boschrand Game Lodge at all times reserves the full right of admission and accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may result from the legal and reasonable exercising of such rights.

• Boschrand Game Lodge Management reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverages to guests who are demonstrating intoxicated behaviour.

• Management further reserves the right to remove / have guests removed from the premises, who boast a threat, discomfort or danger to staff, other guests and/or building and all of its contents.

• Guest Rooms, which were reserved for one guest, will attract an additional charge should the guest-occupancy exceed this number.

• No pets are allowed on the premises.

• Any and all exceptions must be arranged with management prior to arrival.

• We do not extend credit without a credit application completed and approved.

• We honour most credit cards and are delighted to accept cash. Regrettably no cheques or foreign currency accepted.

• Should you select to pay cash for your account, we require pre-payment on arrival to cover the cost of the accommodation.

• The outstanding balance for extra services, accounts, damages and losses during your stay are payable on departure.

• Should Boschrand Game Lodge suffer any loss or damage as a result of an act or omission by a guest or visitor of a guest, the guest will remain liable for full reimbursement of such loss or damage incurred and will be billed accordingly.

• Boschrand Game Lodge or the owners does not accept any liability for loss of or damage to any valuables or property belonging to guests or their visitors

• This includes but is not limited to photographic equipment, laptops or other electronic devices, jewelry, cash and vehicles.

• For the comfort of our guests, Boschrand Game Lodge is a strictly non-smoking accommodation establishment except for outside guest areas.

• The use of candles, other than those provided for in the rooms, and gas lamps inside the guest rooms are strictly forbidden.

• No excessive noise-levels will be tolerated on the premises.

• Guests are unfortunately not allowed to play their own music (from vehicles on the premises, inside guest rooms etc.).

• Management reserves to their sole discretion, the right to control the noise level and music timing.

• Please keep the doors and windows closed when the air-conditioning is on in your room. Turn off the air-conditioning when you leave the room.

• The optimal air-conditioning temperature is 20°C – please do not set the temperature setting lower than that.
